Synopsis

 

DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia will be issuing a solicitation for a full line of fresh fruit and vegetable (US #1 or better) service to DoD customers of the Alaska Remote Sites in the Alaska Zone. This is an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order and this acquisition is unrestricted.

Estimated date for the release of the solicitation is June 27, 2012

Estimated closing date of the solicitation is July 5, 2012 

Awarded vendor will have established a catalog by the estimated date of July 27, 2012

Estimated first delivery date is August 6, 2012

The end performance is unknown but is not likely to exceed six (6) months.

There are presently eight (8) remote customers that will be included on this solicitation. All receive product at Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, AK.

Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The solicitation will be found at the DLA-Bid Board at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so before viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation.
