Synopsis

****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Laura Noel, Contract Specialist, email: laura.e.noel.civ@mail.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX2F511AX; NOUN: Bracket, Structural; NSN: 1560-01-558-0921; P/N: 70215-42410-124; Minimum Quantity: 50 each and Maximum Quantity: 250 each on a base + four 100% options type contract applicable to the UH-60 with delivery to Corpus, TX. Required delivery is 50 each 175 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 50 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE: 78286) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
