Synopsis

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted) utilizing the solicitation number W912P8-12-T-0076. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-58. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811213 with a small business size standard of $10,000,000.00 dollars. This requirement is a one-hundred percent (100%) small business set-aside, and only qualified offerors may submit bids.

A description of the requirements is as follows:

REPLACE TWO CERAGON MODEL 1500P 11GHZ MICROWAVE RADIOS WITH NEWER MODEL CERAGON IP10G 11GHZ MICROWAVE RADIOS, OR ANOTHER MANUFACUTRER'S RADIOS THAT EXHIBIT THE SAME FEATURES AND ARE COMPATABLE WITH THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT, IN THE MICROWAVE LINK BETWEEN ORLEANS AVE CANAL AND PUMP STATION #7.

REPLACE TWO MODEL 1500P CERAGON 11GHZ MICROWAVE RADIOS WITH NEWER MODEL CERAGON IP10G 11GHZ MICROWAVE RADIOS, OR ANOTHER MANUFACUTRER'S RADIOS THAT EXHIBIT THE SAME FEATURES AND ARE COMPATABLE WITH THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT, IN THE MICROWAVE LINK BETWEEN ORLEANS AVE CANAL AND LONDON AVE. CANAL.

INSPECT ALL EXISTING COAX CABLE TO INSURE SERVICABILITY.

Delivery will be 30 days after the date of contract award.

(NOTE) In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 & DFARS 252.204-7004, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.

This requirement will be procured as a firm fixed price contract. The basis of award will be the offer conforming to the solicitation specifications that provides the lowest price to the government.
