STARTECH ENVIRONMENTAL CORP Director L. Scott Barnard Resigned
Effective October 17, 2008, L. Scott Barnard resigned as a member of the board of directors of Startech Environmental Corporation (the "Company"). There was no disagreement or dispute between Mr. Barnard and the Company which led to his resignation.
